Karl Löscher founds the company Löscher Elektronik in Sulzhof in western Styria in January when he realizes that his employer at the time cannot meet a customer's demand for electronic components. The first products are still manufactured in the company's own home, but it is still some time before the company has its own production site. At an early stage, cable assembly and the mounting of printed circuit boards became his hobbyhorse and also on a personal level, what still characterizes the company today was consolidated: A direct, honest and very flexible approach to customers has been a concern of Karl Löscher from the very beginning and forms the basis for our success.
Atronic is one of Löscher's first customers. Löscher grows along with it, because the requirements and also the demand increase continuously. Karl Löscher adds his first employees to his team at an early stage: In addition to his wife Maria, two skilled workers are hired, his niece Eva and Anneliese, our forewoman in production today.
Already in August 1998, Löscher employs more than ten people. Due to a lack of space, the company location is moved to the Deutschlandsberg Business Park and the company is transformed into a limited liability company. More and more small and medium series are produced for customers with high quality requirements.
2 years in a row Löscher Elektronik is awarded as best supplier in Austria. Even today, this award fills us with pride. Because it stands exemplary for our efforts around the satisfaction of our customers.
The construction of the company's own production hall with an area of around 1,200 square meters is a milestone in the company's history. At this point, Löscher Elektronik already employs 33 people and maintains this level for years - even in economically challenging times.
After a few large orders, Löscher Elektronik is increasingly focusing on small series, because these require one of the company's great strengths - flexibility. The Austrian location proves to be a clear advantage here: Because the delivery times are shorter compared to the competition, the proximity to the customer and the market is higher.
A year of mourning for Löscher Elektronik, as the company founder and family man Karl Löscher passes away unexpectedly, leaving the company to his wife Maria and his two children Stefan and Magdalena. Even after his death, the company holds on to the values he shaped. After all, his flexibility and openness made Löscher Elektronik great. And also the family appreciation towards the own employees remains.
In 2015, Löscher Elektronik starts working with startups and expands its own portfolio with further exciting tasks. The many years of practical experience and the expertise of the employees are now also available to young and emerging companies to develop and implement products sustainably and successfully.
Stefan Löscher takes over the sole management of Löscher Elektronik. He continues the company in the spirit of Karl Löscher, who anchored essential principles such as sustainability and regionality as well as a strong value attitude towards the company's own employees. With his new impetus, demand and employee numbers are also steadily increasing. The customer base is growing continuously. This makes a further expansion step necessary, in which the company site is extended by a further 1,800 square meters of production and office space.
The new workshop has been completed and occupied. Löscher Elektronik GmbH, with its more than 20 employees, will be a fixture in the Austrian electronics market and collaborates as a reliable partner with renowned companies as well as emerging startups.
A quality management system according to ISO 9001 has been implemented and established. Löscher Elektronik constantly strives to achieve the best possible quality for their customers.
Löscher Elektronik takes over the machinery and equipment from the company 3K in Kornneuburg and starts with the customer-specific patch cable production. This new manufacturing area opens up many new opportunities for Löscher Elektronik and its partners.
