27 years of success on the market!
1993
Löscher Elektronik, based in Sulzhof in Western Styria, was founded by Karl Löscher in January 1993 when he realised that his employer at the time couldn’t meet a customer’s demand for electronic components. The first products were manufactured in his home; it would be some time before he would have a location of his own. Cable assembly and the fitting of printed circuit boards developed into his pet projects early on, and on a personal level, the values that distinguish the company today were cemented: direct, honest and flexible communication with customers was important to Karl Löscher from the start, and formed the foundation of our success.
94/95
Atronic is one of Löscher’s first customers. Löscher grows with this client, because the requirements and the demand are constantly increasing. Karl Löscher is able to hire the first employees; in addition to his wife Maria, two professionals are employed – his niece Eva and Anneliese, who today is the gaffer in our production department.
1998
By August 1998, Löscher already employed more than ten people. The company headquarters are moved to the Deutschlandsberg industrial park due to a shortage of space. The company is also converted into a GmbH. More and more small and medium-sized batches are manufactured for customers with high quality standards.
1999
For two years in a row, Löscher Elektronik is honoured as the best supplier in Austria. These awards still fill us with pride these days, because they represent our efforts for full customer satisfaction.
2002
A milestone in the company’s history is the construction of a production hall with an area of approximately 1,200 sqm. At this time, Löscher Elektronik has 33 employees. This number stays consistent over many years, even during economically challenging times.
2005
After a number of large contracts, Löscher Elektronik focuses more and more on small batches, as these call for one of the company’s main strengths – flexibility. The location in Austria is of great advantage, since the delivery times are shorter in comparison to the competition, and the proximity to the customer and the market is higher.
2013
2013 is a year of mourning for Löscher Elektronik; the company’s founder and family man, Karl Löscher passes away and leaves the company to his wife Maria and his two children, Stefan and Magdalena. After his death, the company continues to uphold the values that he lived by – it was flexibility and openness that grew Löscher Elektronik in the first place. The familial relationship towards the employees is also upheld.
2015
In 2015, Löscher Elektronik begins working with startup comapnies and expands the range of services it offers. Long-term experience and the employees’ expertise are now also available to young and aspiring companies that want to develop and create sustainable and successful products.
2016
Stefan Löscher takes over as sole managing director of Löscher Elektronik. He continues to run the company in the spirit of Karl Löscher, who embedded the key principles of sustainability and regionality, as well as strong values toward the company’s employees. Through his fresh impetus, the demand and number of employees steadily increases. The customer base grows continuously, laying the grounds for a further necessary expansion. The company expands its production and office space by an additional 1,800 sqm.
2017
The new manufacturing hall is completed and a quality management system according to ISO 9001 is introduced. For over 24 years, Löscher GmbH, with more than 20 employees, is a benchmark in the Austrian electronics industry and a trusted partner for reputable enterprises as well as aspiring startup companies.
2018
A quality management system according to ISO 9001 is introduced. Today, Löscher GmbH with its more than 20 employees is a fixture in the Austrian electronic market and has been a reliable partner for well-known companies and emerging start-ups for 25 years.
